Picking Up the Pen
Beloved readers, I’m back!
Life has been life-ing, ministry has been growing, and the whirlwind of responsibilities, joys, and challenges pulled me away from this sacred space for a while. But here I am, returning to Preaching in a Pencil Skirt and Pumps, ready to pour out reflections, revelations, and God moments once more. The past season has been full—full of transitions, full of stretching, full of witnessing God move in ways I never expected. Ministry has been evolving, expanding, deepening, and demanding more of me. And in the midst of it all, the blog had to sit on the sidelines for a bit.
But isn’t that the beauty of faith? That even in the moments when we feel overwhelmed, when our calendars are filled, when our energy feels spent—God is still working, still unfolding His plans, still calling us forward.
Where We Go from Here
As I step back into this blog, I do so with a renewed commitment to sharing the journey—the raw moments, the revelations, the sermons that have been stirring in my heart, and the unexpected lessons God has placed before me.
I invite you back into this sacred space with me. Let’s reflect, let’s wrestle with and interrogate the Word, let’s celebrate the movement of God together.
Wherever you’ve been in your own journey—whether thriving, struggling, or somewhere in between—know that you are not alone. God is present, moving, and inviting each of us to step deeper into His purpose.
So, here’s to returning, to reconnecting, and to pressing forward.
What has God been speaking to you in this season? Let’s share, grow, and witness together.
Blessings,
Rev. Mar
